I'm Back!

I thought I would be able to continue my blog after Kare left for N.H. but I was wrong. I think I needed this hiatus to gather my thoughts and center my soul. I feel fresh and rejuvenated. Now the daily blog has returned.

I had a blast in New Hampshire! Kare's reading of poetry from her manuscript was incredible. It was the most powerful reading of the night. All of her classmates also did a fantastic job with the reading of their work. The graduation ceremony was elegant. Kare looked gorgeous in her dress and gave a heart warming speech. We had such a good time after graduation talking with other students, faculty and alumni. New England College has a wonderful MFA program full of great people and amazing poets. Kare is ready to continue her writing this year. She is very excited about all the wonderful opportunities ahead and so am I!

After we left New Hampshire we headed to Philly to see my sister Lisa. She is so awesome! We ate the most tasty guacamole ever and talked about artist colonies. My sister is a very talented artist.
